The inspiration behind our business comes from a desire to continue my mother’s legacy and remain connected to her, reminding me that life is indeed short and it is essential to pursue what you love and celebrate your culture and heritage.
Growing up surrounded by the bold flavors and unique ingredients that define Caribbean cuisine, I found myself drawn to the kitchen, where I could express my passion for cooking and share the traditions of my culture and while learning others. Growing up in Miami, FL I experienced a melting pot of culture and food. It is through the joy and warmth of cooking, music and exploration of heritage that I found a way to honor my roots and create a space that welcomes all to experience the richness of our culture.
